About the project
The project was executed in Milan and involved a relatively small branch of the banking group in the outskirts of Milan. Despite that, the offices are very busy and required a solution able to meet the expections clients of such an important bank might have.
The main goal was offering the end customer a solution which could provide the needed cooling and comfort while being extremely efficient from an energy consumption standpoint, ensuring absolute reliability, and low running costs.
About the solution
The new air-cooled chiller R-32 Small Inverter Chiller was the perfect solution for this project. Thanks to the compact footprint, perfectly fitted the installation space available on site. Besides that, the R-32 Small Inverter Chiller proved a great solution thanks to the full inverter technology, which helps the unit0 providing the best energy efficiency performance on the market, making the HVAC system able to adjust the cooling load based on the actual cooling needs of the building.
Besides energy efficiency, availability at stock was a very relevant aspect, as the customer had a tight deadline to meet. The fact that the R-32 Small Inverter Chiller is always available at stock was a big help so the project could be completed on time.
Lastly, reliability was ensured by Daikin’s huge experience in developing R-32 technology.
In 2018, Daikin was an early innovator and made history by introducing the first R-32 refrigerant chillers, followed by free-cooling scroll units the same year, and the R-32 Heat Pump in 2020.
Today, Daikin is the brand with the highest number of R-32 installations in the world, as a testimony to the experience, the knowledge, the quality and the reliability of its R-32 products.
