Daikin has recently been involved in the commissioning of two chiller units in a residential building in Abu Dhabi. The newly installed units’ goal is to meet cooling needs, providing energy efficiency and reliability to bring down operating costs and improve business profitability.

The project aimed at replacing old inefficient chiller units providing the HVAC plant with a new energy-efficient chiller that can meet reliability needs while reducing its carbon footprint. Customers pay strong attention to energy consumption because energy efficiency is central to keeping operative costs reasonably low. For this reason, the chillers are designed to be extremely reliable. Specifically, the chillers supplied are part of the Daikin MZ Series, specifically designed to operate in high-temperature conditions – up to 55°C. This Series can ensure the best performance and absolute reliability even in harsh environments, which are typical of Middle Eastern countries, all that also thanks to Daikin Single Screw Compressor with integrated and refrigerant-cooled inverter.
